Hope you are well! Last Sunday we continued through “Jesus in Isaiah” at the 9:30 hour and I preached on “Ready for Christ’s return” from Luke 12:35-48. AWANA Truthseekers continues on Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 pm, at the Chamberlain Community Center. If you can help with snacks, please talk with Vonnie. Home-group meeting is Monday, 6:30-8:00 pm at Chuck and Alissa’s home. We’ll have time for Bible reading in James, prayer, and fellowship – hope to see you!
We PRAISE God for the sale of Angie’s house and pray for the sale of Kelly’s house. Praise God for a new puppy and the upcoming fall play on November 9-10. We pray for comfort for Dave’s family and our community following the football game last week. Please keep our college students and young adults in prayer, as well as June’s sister-in-law with a heart issue. We lift up Bill and cancer treatments and praise God for Nicholas’ recovery. We pray for our worker in China and Beth’s surgery recovery.
Some of us have been talking about a missions / touring trip to Israel in June, 2019. We will have more information about this on Sunday, Oct 21, 2:00 pm at the Warmbrand’s to discuss and pray about. If you’re interested but can’t make that meeting, let me know a good time I can talk with you.
We will have potluck and congregation meeting on Sunday, Oct 28.
