你好 – nĭ hăo (Hello in Chinese)! Last Sunday I preached from Luke 10:1-20, which you can find at the tab SERMON AUDIO above. There will be ups and downs in life, even in ministry, but you can rejoice that your name is written in heaven. Amen!
This Sunday at 9:30 we will learn about truth and deceit from Proverbs and at 10:30 I will preach from Luke 10:21-24, “Jesus rejoicing”. We will answer the question, “What does Jesus rejoice in?” We will also celebrate our graduates, worship at the communion table, and have a brief meeting after church to discuss the properties we looked at.
Pray for Allen and Gideon ministries and praise God for Bible distribution. Please keep Paula in prayer as her mom as passed. We PRAISE God for safe student travel to Chicago and pray for all the area schools as they wind up the year, and pray for graduates in a time of change. Please keep new staff and facilities in prayer at all our schools as well. We pray for Bible camps and other upcoming summer activities.
AWANA meets Wednesday night May 2, 6:30 pm, for our celebration picnic at American Creek.
Our church website was down for a day but is back on-line. Mark in Ohio hosts our website and fixes all our technical issues – please keep him in prayer as he juggles family, work, and ministry.
Please pray for our church and leaders, for direction, health, influence and worship. Please keep in prayer for our church building and how the Lord may lead us, as well as the role you can play. We will have a short meeting after church this Sunday to discuss the possibilities of the properties we looked at. Even if you weren’t able to see the properties, you are invited and encouraged to attend.
Blessings to you and I encourage you to rejoice “that your names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20)”.
you are loved and prayed for
Leigh
