weekly update

Hello, hope you are warm and well! Spring might be here soon!

We will have a special congregation meeting on March 10 after church to discuss a potential building opportunity. The old A-square munitions building in Chamberlain, 302 Antelope Way, is available for us to use. Everyone is encouraged to see the building before March 10 – please speak with Chris Wilson or Allen, Larry, or me to arrange a time convenient for you.

We have Bible study and Sunday school for all ages at the 9:30 hour on Sunday and worship at 10:30. Last Sunday I preached from Luke 14:25-35, “The kingdom will cost you.” You can hear the sermon under the SERMON AUDIO tab above or through our FaceBook page. This Sunday is Communion Sunday and I will preach from Luke 15:1-10, “repentance”.

I want to remind you that elders, deacons, and deaconesses are available for prayer and ministry. If you have a need, please let someone know. Our prayer directory is available for your use.

PRAISE God for the roads and those who keep them clear in snowy weather. Please keep Larry and his hand in prayer, as well as Johanna who is at Teen Pact in Pierre this week. We pray for the Warmbrand’s travel to Sioux Falls for swimming this weekend and CHS wrestlers’ travel at the state meet. Please keep Chuck’s dad in prayer, who had a stroke. Praise God for the youth event in Chamberlain. We remember missionaries and the believers and churches in Laos and China facing persecution. PRAISE God for no flu in the Mahnke home!

Blessings to you,

Leigh
