“dobar dan” [добар дан] – Good day! (in Bosnian) Last Sunday I preached from Luke 10:25-37, which you can find at the SERMON AUDIO tab above. We serve the Lord and others (and even our enemies) with compassion and mercy, as a function of eternal life, and as Jesus served.
This Sunday at 9:30 we will learn about leadership from Proverbs 28-29 and at 10:30 I will preach from Luke 10:38-42, “resting in joy”.
Please keep building and property issues and leaders and community in prayer as we look ahead to the next 10 years.
We praise God for moms and our adult Sunday school class. We give thanks for our pets and pray for opportunities for new ones. We pray for the end of the school year, transitions and graduations, staff and students. Please keep Joni and the girls in prayer, as well as Sean as he transitions to Japan and Korea, and another Sean as he needs guidance and direction for future decisions. We are thankful for Caleb and children and grand-children and please keep Julie’s spine surgery and Victoria’s house situation in prayer. We pray for comfort in the loss of a grand-father and praise Him for working in the lives of our families.
Blessings to you and I encourage you to “love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength” and to “love your neighbor as yourself.”
you are loved and prayed for
Leigh
