Blessings and hope you are well!
Last Sunday I preached from Zechariah 9:9-17. The sermon audio can be found at http://cpefc.org/sermon-audio. The outline:
Behold your King – hope in Christ.
- We focused on what this message meant to the people of Zechariah’s day.
- We looked at the good news of this coming, glorious King.
- We applied it to our lives today.
We prayed for our military men and women, some who give their lives in service for our country. We mourn the loss of cousin Monty but are thankful He is at rest after a long illness. We lifted up Pastor Ron and his recovery, as well as Alicia. Please keep in prayer for Naomi’s and Sadie’s guardianship hearing, people who are moving, and PRAISE God for Mara’s second child. We are thankful Rebecca’s injury wasn’t worse and continue to remember all our students as the school year winds down. Please pray for St. Joe’s students and workers and upcoming Victory Bible Camp.
Reminder: There is NO AWANA on March 28, 2018.
A Good Friday service will be held at noon at the Water of Life church in Chamberlain. I will be preaching a few minutes from John 19 and Psalm 22.
On April 1 Easter Sunday, we will have coffee and muffins at 9:00 and an all-ages combined Sunday school lesson at 9:30. We will have an Easter egg hunt for the kids after the lesson and regular worship starts at 10:30. I will preach from Psalm 16.
blessings to you and remember: The Lord will rescue you from every evil deed and bring you safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (2 Timothy 4:18)
you are loved and prayed for
