Shalom! Last Sunday I preached from Joel 3. The technology didn’t work as planned Sunday morning, but I re-recorded something similar at home and you can find it at the sermon audio tab above. God’s people will escape the coming judgment through the blood of Jesus and rest in His presence for all eternity. Praise God!
This Sunday at 9:30 we will learn about family, marriage, singleness and parenting from Proverbs and at 10:30 I will preach from Luke 10:1-20, “Joy in Jesus”.
Please keep Dave’s brother in prayer as he goes through chemo, and Frank’s illness. We pray for Chuck’s safety on the job and safe travels back home. PRAISE God for the good turn in weather and farmers and ranchers hard at work! We pray for the band and choir trip this week, all the schools in the area, and our AWANA program as we wind up the year and prepare for graduation and summer activities. Thank God for a healthy puppy and good movie outreach. Please keep those areas of our country experiencing severe weather in prayer, as well as the Junke and Marsh families in the passing of their loved one.
AWANA meets Wednesday night 6:30 pm at the Chamberlain community center for the last time this year; our celebration picnic will be at American Creek on May 2.
Elders and deacons of the church are meeting Thursday evening for prayer and planning. Please pray for our church and leaders, for direction, health, influence and worship.
Blessings to you and I encourage you to rejoice “that your names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20)”.
you are loved and prayed for
Leigh
