Hope you are well! At church on Sunday we have Bible study and Sunday school for all ages at the 9:30 hour and worship at 10:30. Last Sunday I preached from Micah 4, “God promising future judgment.” You can hear the sermon under the SERMON AUDIO tab or through our FaceBook page. This Sunday I will preach from Micah 5 and Matthew 2, “God prophesies the coming Savior.”
I want to remind you that elders, deacons, and deaconesses are available for prayer and ministry. If you have a need, please let someone know.
We will have regular Sunday school and worship on December 23 and 30. We will have a special Christmas Eve service on Monday, December 24, from 6:00 – 7:00 pm at the OCC.
Our PRAYER DIRECTORY will be available the next few Sundays in December so we can make any corrections before final printing. It will include birthdays, contact info, and prayer helps. Thank you for participating in this prayer effort.
PRAISE God for our college students and young adults. We are thankful for Caleb’s new medication and pray for finances. Please keep Della’s up-coming operation in prayer, as well as Pam’s heart condition and other health issues concerning our friends and families. PRAISE God for dad’s baptism, and please pray for those who don’t know the Lord, especially friends and family. We ask God to move and work in their lives, that they would be born again and know Christ as Lord and Savior.
Blessings to you and I hope you are well. We suffer in this world, facing trials and troubles. God is our comforter and strength in the storm. He reigns over our suffering. Suffering does not have the last word.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,
Leigh
