weekly update

Hope you are well! At church on Sunday we have Bible study and Sunday school for all ages at the 9:30 hour and worship at 10:30. Last Sunday I preached from Micah 6-7, “God pardons and saves by providing the Savior.” You can hear the sermon under the SERMON AUDIO tab above or through our FaceBook page. This Sunday we will talk about God’s comfort and glory from Isaiah 40 at 9:30 and at 10:30 I will preach from Luke 13:10-21, “Jesus announces the kingdom.”

I want to remind you that elders, deacons, and deaconesses are available for prayer and ministry. If you have a need, please let someone know.

This Friday January 4, everyone is invited to the Warmbrand’s for chili and games, starting at 7:00 pm. Hope to see you!

On Saturday January 5 from 9:00 am – noon we’ll be cleaning up and organizing our new office at the brown A-frame building in Oacoma, next to the Post Office. Please come out to help clean and move items and see our new “digs.”

We will hold a new members’ class this spring for those who want to be members of CPEFC. We will also have a “book club” reading and meeting this spring. Please speak with me about these issues if you’re interested.

Our PRAYER DIRECTORY is available to make any corrections before final printing. It will include birthdays, contact info, and prayer helps. Thank you for participating in this prayer effort.

Please keep Chuck and Alissa in prayers for health issues and strength to persevere. We PRAISE God for a large gathering of young adults at the Herman’s house. Please remember Chris Sanderson’s upcoming surgery in prayer as well.

Blessings to you and I hope you are well. We are looking forward to God’s continued working in and through us in 2019, for His glory.
