Вiтаю, pronounced vee-tie-yu, is “hello” in Belarus, as well as parts of Russia, Poland, and Ukraine. Last Sunday I preached from Luke 10:38-42, which you can find at the SERMON AUDIO tab above. Although serving the Lord can be good, it is a better joy to rest in His presence and sit at His feat, learning from Him. We were also blessed with Leanne, Allen, Carl and Jesse sharing their gift of music with us in worship.
This Sunday at 9:30 will be our final study from Proverbs, chapter 30, “lessons on life: looking up and around”. We will have one combined Sunday school class for all ages, and we will begin a summer study of the Holy Spirit on June 10. At 10:30 I will preach on “joy of prayer” from Luke 11:1-13.
Please keep building and property issues and leaders and community in prayer as we look ahead to the next 10 years.
We praise God for the end of the school year and look forward to a summer of blessings, family visits, and travel mercies. We pray for all armed forces, their families and leaves and tours. Please lift up those in addiction recovery and the “daily bread” issues of life: broken refrigerators and sunburn. We remember the loss in the Larouche family and Victoria’s loss of house. We celebrate our graduates and pray for Chuck’s teaching opportunities and new employees and staff changes as we prepare for the next school year.
Blessings to you and I encourage you to “choose the good portion” this season: sit at the feet of your Lord and listen to His teaching.
you are loved and prayed for
